Meet The Team

Sarah Lindeire
Executive Director

Sarah received an award from Women Deliver as the 86th most influential woman in the world in 2011 at the age of 21. Sarah is a patriotic visionary who believes that the booming youth population in Malawi is an opportunity to mobilize all youth to adopt an ‘All hands on deck” attitude and way of functioning towards steering Malawi and individual young people towards thriving socioeconomically.

Aubrey Lindeire
Director of Programs and Operations

Aubrey completed his tertiary education at Mzuzu University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Education) degree. He has previously worked for the British Council Malawi, the African Bible College and consulted for several UN agencies locally and presently working with Tingathe as Director of Programs and Operations.

Liam Palmbach
Communications, Fundraising, and Visibility Manager

Liam holds a degree in History from the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 2016. He previously worked with the Stockholm-based Institute for Security and Development Policy. He came to Malawi in May, 2018, first as a volunteer and then a full-time employee of Tingathe.

Sifiwe Bamusi
Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, and Programs Associate

Sifiwe is a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education majoring in English Language and a minoring in English Literature from Adventist University. She is passionate about transforming the lives of youth, children, and women so that they can be equipped to lead independent lives.

Peter Chimuka
Finance and Administration Officer

Peter holds a diploma in Business Management (ABE) from Pact College. He is passionate about changing the narrative and uplifting the lives of the marginalized youths in Malawi. He believes the youth are leaders of today, hence they must not be held back but be supported.

Dorothy Banda
Community Coordinator

Dorothy is our community coordinator in Mtandire. She originally comes from Mulanje district. Her passion is encouraging women and youth in her community to work hard and become entrepreneurs.

Mary Given
Office Clerk, Tingathe Dreams Center

Mary was drawn to Tingathe upon seeing the impact that the life skills training program had in her community in Mtandire. She is passionate about sanitation and hygiene. She plays her part very well to ensure that Tingathe’s environment is conducive for learning and working.

Susan Mendulo
Programs and Entrepreneurship Intern
Susan has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Malawi Assemblies of God University (pending). She believes Tingathe is a unique and special place which fuels her passion to contribute to peri urban communities in Malawi. She wants to make a positive impact in her country and Tingathe is a great place to start

Julius Jules Banda
ommunications and Entrepreneurship Intern

Julius holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Malawi, Chancellor College, having majored in Social and Economic Philosophy and minored in Public Administration. As a community activist and prolific recording artist, he is passionate about team work to build up communities for the better. His work at Tingathe is crucial in communicating and mentoring alumni business startups in peri urban areas.

Dan Kangu
Entrepreneurship Intern

Dan is currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. His passion is to create better communities that are able to work and support themselves with talents and skills they have.
